What are the teachings of intrinsic worth?

I am deeply immersed in the teachings of intrinsic worth—learning that we are deserving without the need to do more, share more, or be more. One of the profound aspects of ceremony and working with plant medicine is that the medicine operates precisely as it is meant to. It does not impose an experience or dictate an outcome; its essence aligns with the moment and allows the journey to unfold naturally. We often encounter frustration when people feel that the medicine has not given them "more" or failed to fulfill their intentions. Yet, the medicine remains indifferent to such expectations. It simply observes how individuals respond to what is revealed to them.

For those who have not experienced plant medicine and find it hard to relate consider Gaia, the earth. The cycles of Gaia progress according to her own rhythms, independent of human desires or requests. Gaia decides when to cleanse or renew herself, acting without prior notice or consultation. And yes, while it is important to communicate significant changes to those around us, we also have the opportunity to give what we can without the compulsion to over-explain or overextend ourselves.

In essence, this teachings remind us that we can offer our gifts and presence authentically, embracing our intrinsic worth without the need for validation or excessive effort.
